Baby Coloring Page
A baby sitting on plain ground with bare arms, bare hands, round human ears on the sides of the head, one short curl of hair, two big round eyes each holding one white highlight and a mouth drawn as one short curved line shorter than one eye, wearing one plain one-piece suit, and holding one round rattle with both hands. From the collection Family Coloring Pages for Preschoolers.
Built for ages 3 to 5: one clear subject with a few large parts to fill, a 7-point outline that forgives wobbles, and no detail smaller than a crayon tip, so a four-year-old can finish it neatly in one sitting. More for this age: 4 year olds, 5 year olds, kindergarten.
Print at 100% on plain white paper. Free for personal and classroom use under our terms.
How to color it
Start with the biggest area, the baby itself, and use whatever colors your child chooses; there is no wrong answer on a coloring page. Fill it before moving on to the smaller parts.
This is a preschool page with a 7pt outline: thick enough to forgive, with a few distinct areas to fill. Regular crayons or washable markers both work well.
Encourage filling one area at a time before moving on. Ask one open question about the picture rather than correcting colors; an unusual color choice is a good sign of a child making decisions.
