Halloween Coloring Pages for Kids

Free printable Halloween scenes for kids ages 6 to 10: a witch on a broom, trick-or-treaters, a haunted house on a hill, a pumpkin patch and more. Fun, not frightening, with thick 4.5pt lines.

What children practice

  • Halloween vocabulary: witch, mummy, haunted house
  • Scene coloring with a clear main character
  • Color choices: night skies and glowing windows

Ideas for home and classroom

  • Color the sky black last so the moon and windows stay bright.
  • Cut out the characters for a window display.
  • Write a two-line spooky story under the picture.
  • Pair with the preschool Halloween set for younger siblings.

How to use these pages

These are full Halloween scenes for school-age children: more to look at than our preschool set, but still drawn with a 4.5pt line and no areas smaller than a crayon tip. Every character smiles. Use them for a classroom Halloween afternoon, a party table or a rainy October weekend; the ZIP download has every page as a separate PDF.

For a challenge, ask for a full color scheme: purple sky, orange pumpkins, yellow windows. Older children like adding their own bats and stars in the empty sky.

What to expect at ages 6 to 10

Six-year-olds color the main character and rush the background; that is fine. By eight or nine, children shade the moon, add patterns to the witch's dress and write captions. If a scene feels busy for a younger child, the preschool Halloween set has the same characters as single subjects.

Questions about these pages

Are these scary?

No. The witch smiles from her broom, the bats have friendly faces and the trick-or-treaters are children in cat costumes. There is no blood, no sharp teeth and every face is friendly. They are meant for a classroom.

Which pages are included?

Every page shown above, each as a separate PDF in A4 and US Letter. New Halloween scenes are added through October, after each one is checked by hand.

Printing tips

Every page downloads as a PDF in A4 and US Letter. Print at 100% scale on plain paper. For toddlers, heavier paper (120 gsm or more) holds up better to enthusiastic crayon work. The ZIP bundles contain one PDF per page.
